“UP Rahi” App: Now UP passengers can easily book advance bus tickets

Lucknow: “UP Rahi” app is now available on Google Play Store and is free to download.

Launched to improve the transport system in Uttar Pradesh, ‘UP Rahi’ is a ticket booking and passenger feedback app. The new app launched on Saturday will allow passengers to book online from anywhere, news agency ANI reported.

With the introduction of the application, millions of the state’s bus passengers can now travel problem-free. Here are the key features that make it practical:

Apart from allowing users to pre-book bus tickets from anywhere, the ‘UP Rahi’ app also offers cashless services.

Passengers can also provide feedback and report complaints about their trip. The behavior of the driver-conductor, the condition of the bus and other related issues are included in the application.

According to a UP government press release, the app is available in Hindi as well as English.

According to UPSRTC IT General Manager Yuzvendra Kumar, passengers can book tickets through the app after filling the registration window that appears when it opens.

Aadhaar or PAN card number can be used to establish identity. After registration, an ID and password will be generated, which will allow you to use the application.

Passengers can track their previous journeys using the app. In this way, they can keep all their previous transactions safe. In addition, during the ticket purchase, Customers can choose a bus of their choice during the ticket reservation.

Volvo and non-stop flights are categorized separately in the app. There will be information about all bus types like Low Floor AC Buses, Rajdhani, Ordinary, Janrath, AC Sleeper, Pink Express, Shatabdi and Gramin Sewa.

Cancellation of tickets is also allowed through the app.

Problems related to lack of accurate transfer of bus staff and passengers and failure of online transactions due to poor network coverage can be avoided with advance ticket booking facility announced by ‘UP Rahi’. “With the introduction of the app, you will get rid of these problems. To purchase tickets through the app, users can use QR code, UPI, credit card, debit card or any other digital payment method. Passengers will not need to print the ticket after booking the ticket. So can travel to show the ticket booking status on the app itself,” Yuzvendra Kumar was quoted as saying by ANI.
