Tyler Cameron revealed he only had $200 when he dated Gigi Hadid

“The Bachelorette” star Tyler Cameron revealed that he only had $200 when he dated Gigi Hadid.

The reality star had a brief two-month romance with the supermodel in 2019, shortly after appearing on the ABC dating show.

Cameron appeared on Monday’s episode of Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tatrick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast and revealed his financial shortfall.

“He goes to me, ‘Dude, I don’t know what the hell I’m doing. I have $5,000 in my bank account, I don’t know what my next job is going to be, and I’m dating Gigi Hadid,” Tatrick said.

“It’s not even $5,000, I had like $200, you know what I mean?” Cameron corrected.

“I’d go on a date—like in the early days of my life in New York.” I’m living off Matt’s beanbag,” she said, referring to fellow Bachelor Nation alum Matt James.

“I don’t have any money, but I’m the happiest I’ve ever been because the world opened up to me in New York. I can do whatever I want,” he added.

Cameron recalled calling her father from the bathroom to ask him for money to pay for the date.

“I’d go on a date, I’m like the calls are popping up in the bathroom. I used to say, “Pup, I don’t think my credit card will go through. Send me some money right now. And he says, “You got it, son, go get it!” Cameron remembered.

“If you’re going on a date with Gigi and you only have $200 to your name, how are you going to pay for it? Have you ever had a story like how do you deal with this?” Tatrick asked.

“You’re just crossing your fingers at this point,” Cameron explained. “I don’t even know what a credit card is at this point.”

“I’ve got a straight debit card so if it hits zero it hits zero so I’m just crossing my fingers and hoping it sweeps and it just keeps on hitting,” he added.

In July 2019, Hadid made the first move by following Cameron on Instagram while on Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette.”

Cameron came second on the ABC dating show, but after Brown broke off her engagement to winner Jed Wyatt, she asked Cameron out for a drink.

The pair met in Los Angeles on the same weekend as Cameron’s first date with Hadid.

After his short-lived romance with Hadid ended, Cameron was romantically linked to Kendra Camila and model Paige Lorenze.

Cameron and Lorenze called it quits in August, just 3 weeks after going public with their romance.
