Morrison spoke to ET Online back in June, but his comments resurfaced recently when the outlet included them in a preview for the upcoming The Mandalorian Season 3.

The actor told the outlet after the conclusion of the first season of The Book of Boba Fett, “We have to bring him back somewhere. We need to see the old Boba Fett.”

He then declared: “We reintroduced him. We figured some things out. But I think it’s time to get him back to his bad ways. No way around it.”

“So, I think we have the scope to go back there, but it’s out of my control. I’ll see what happens,” he added.

Lucasfilm has not revealed much about the upcoming third season of the mandalorian, but they released a teaser trailer back in September that appears to show a return to the planet Mandalore.

It also seems to indicate that there will be an ideological battle in Din Djarin and possibly even Grogu, as Emily Swallow’s The Armorer looks to throw Djarin out of their Mandalorian cult. Meanwhile, Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan informs Kryze Grogu that Djarin is not the only Mandalorian and asks Djarin about the cult.

Lucasfilm also shared footage at CCXP in Brazil earlier this month. According to the Bespin Bulletin, the footage shows “Din Djarin and Grogu venturing to Mandalore in an attempt to regain Din’s honor after he removed his helmet during the second season of The Mandalorian.”

The outlet also noted that Djarin is involved in a fight against a number of TIE fighters, and there could be a fight against a Mythosaur on Mandalora as the footage ended with “Grogu reaching out and using his strength against a monster.”

After claiming Star Wars in March, the series would introduce a mythosaur in the season finale. The website noted, “You’ll see the Mythosaur live and it chases everyone around and causes a bunch of trouble before it’s brought under control.”

Another rumor from Making Star Wars claims that Grogu will be riding around inside a modified IG-11 suit.

The website detailed, “Grogu is literally sitting inside the chest of a modified IG-11 that has been enhanced with beskar and has been transformed into the lost child’s suit of Mandalorian armor.”

In addition to IG-11 being Grogu’s armor, Making Star Wars also claims that the droid “gives him data on the probability of success and protects the child when necessary.”

Rumors aside, Lucasfilm has confirmed: “In the third season of The The Mandalorianit The Mandalorian and Grogu have been reunited and continue their journey through the lawless galaxy.”

They have also confirmed the return of Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, and Emily Swallow as The Armorer.
