Rubi Rose confirms her ‘new’ relationship with French Montana

TMZ first broke the story, citing a “source close to the couple” and footage of the new couple getting ready for dinner in California. On Tuesday, Rubi told TSR that their relationship is still in the amateur stages.

“It’s still new that we’re chilling and getting to know each other,” Rubi revealed in a message to The Shade Room.

Although she declined to take exclusive pictures of them, Rubi plans to share more about their blossoming romance “if and when it comes.”

As mentioned, leaked footage shows French and Rubi arriving at a restaurant in Beverly Hills on Monday night (March 14).

In the short clip, French Montana got out of a red vehicle and was followed by another man dressed all in black – believed to be security. As French continued walking toward the restaurant (and cameras flashing), Rubi got out of the vehicle.

Dressed in a two-piece tracksuit and trainers, she picked up her walking pace to catch up with the Frenchman. She can be heard saying, “what the fuck,” apparently turning to the paparazzi surrounding them and trying to slightly hide her face.

As the new couple entered the restaurant’s outdoor patio, French put his arm around Rubi’s shoulder.

It is not yet clear how the couple met. However, in case you didn’t know, they are both involved in the music industry as artists.

The new relationship is a slight distraction from Rubi and ex-boyfriend DDG’s Twitter beef last month. At the time, Rubi called DDG a “eccentric,” implying that she is his current girlfriend Halle Bailey he was wearing his shirt.

Halle apparently addressed the claims by saying: “The devil is at work lol please don’t feed on the lies.” Meanwhile, DDG and Rose traded several accusations, including Rose sharing evidence that DDG slipped into her DMs during her relationship with Halle. DDG, on the other hand, claimed that Rubi tried to rekindle their relationship “since [he] moved on.”

Days after their public spat, DDG released a song titled Too petty. In the issue, he called Rose a “b***h” while denying that the shirt Halle was wearing belonged to Rose.

After the release of the song, DDG and Halle were spotted at Milan Fashion Week. Most recently, the couple attended Vanity Fair’s Oscars after party together.

Maybe we can see the French and Rubi there next year? Only time will tell!
