New to Disney+ this week (US)

Here’s a look at everything coming to Disney+ in the US this week.

Highlights include the premieres of the original series “Daddies on Request,” Marvel’s special presentation of “The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special,” the holiday special “The Hip Hop Nutcracker” and more.

New episodes also continue to be released for “Dancing with the Stars” season 31, “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” season 2, “The Mysterious Benedict Society” season 2 and the season 1 finale episode for “Star Wars: Andor” coming this week.

New library titles include Season 1 of “Egypt with the World’s Greatest Explorer,” new episodes of “The Villains of Valley View,” and more.

Dancing with the Stars – Finale – Episode 11 (Live)

“Dancing with the Stars” is the hit series hosted by supermodel and businesswoman Tyra Banks and actor and TV personality Alfonso Ribeiro, where celebrities are paired with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.

The Elves – Episode 3 – “Chapter Three: Into the Wobbly Wood”

Scott interviews potential elf candidates as the family prepares to leave. Simon Choksi, one of the candidates, takes his daughter, Grace, to the North Pole. During Simon’s interview, Sandra and Grace disappear. In finding their daughters
together, Scott realizes that Simon is the best choice to take the mantle.


Andor – Season 1 – Episode 12 – Finale

“Andor” follows the adventures of Rebel spy Cassian Andor in the formative years of the Rebellion five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The thrilling spy thriller will explore stories filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless empire.


The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers – Season 2 – Episode 9 – “Summer Breezers”

The Ducks and their rival Dominate are getting ready to face each other in the finals – with the champion advancing to the Summer Showcase. Tensions are high – captains Evan and Jace are at odds, Alex and Cole’s summer romance has been cut short, and both teams
are angry at the adults for their misunderstood trade talk. But a new plan and an inspired day just might open up hearts and change the course of the entire summer for everyone.


The Mysterious Benedict Society – Season 2 – Episode 6 – “Commitment to All Things Cozy”

After learning the location of Dr. Curtain’s estate, the Society prepares to strike, but are harassed by the Grays and must split up to escape. Meanwhile, Mr. Benedict tries to bond with his twin in an attempt to gain information, but is sidelined when Dr. Curtain sows discord
between Mr. Benedict and number two. While on a detour, Constance finds herself surprisingly fascinated by Curtain’s TV special. After discovering the extent of catatonia among his acolytes, Curtain is horrified but denies responsibility.


Daddies On Request – Premiere – All episodes streaming

California, a thirteen-year-old girl, and her three adoptive parents embark on a journey from Mexico City to Zacatecas in order for her to be reunited with her mother, whom she has not heard from in nine years. What they don’t know is that they are being followed by two funny thugs with suspicious intentions.

Sumo does, Sumo doesn’t! – Episode 6

Summer is here, and the sumo club Kyoritsu University is participating in a training camp. Ryota, Shun and Ren treat it as a fun vacation, but when they arrive, they learn that they will be training with Hokuto Gakuin, the champions of the sumo league. Exhausted from the rigorous training, Ryota and the others leave the training ground in search of some fun. They find a bar where they eat and sleep, but find themselves unable to pay the bill in the morning.

Last of the Giants: Wild Fish (S1)

Cyril Chaquet and his intrepid team are on a mission into the wild terrain of Canada and the Amazon to find the largest fish in the world and save it from extinction.


Puppy Dog Pals (S5, 2 episodes)

Puppy brothers Bingo and Rolly enjoy being around Bob, their owner, and help him with various activities. While he is gone, they travel the neighborhood and perform exciting missions.


The Villains of Valley View (S1, 4 episodes)

When teenage supervillain Havoc stands up to the leader of the League of Villains, her family members are forced to change identities and move to a sleepy Texas suburb.


Witness Disaster (S1)

Extreme footage and surviving witnesses bring to life the terrifying reality of what it’s like to experience direct disaster.


World’s Deadliest: Jaws and Sins (S1)

Man takes a look at the angriest, laziest and most enviable species in the animal kingdom.

Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation: The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special – Premiere

IN The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday SpecialThe Guardians, on a mission to make Christmas unforgettable for Quill, head to Earth in search of the perfect gift.

The Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation stars Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff, with Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn and The Old 97’s with Michael Rooker and Kevin Bacon.

James Gunn wrote and directed The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. The executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Gunn, Sara Smith and Simon Hatt, with David J. Grant and Lars P. Winther serving as co-producers.


Hip Hop The Nutcracker – Premiere

RUN DMC’s Rev Run takes us on a hip-hop reimagining of The Nutcracker ballet set in New York City. It’s the night of the annual New Year’s Eve block party, and Maria-Clara’s (Caché Melvin) mom and pop (Allison Holker Boss and Stephen “tWitch’ Boss) don’t get along…and it’s getting her down. Maria-Clara sets out on a holiday adventure to bring her parents back together, finding help along the way from the magical toymaker, Drosselmeyer (Comfort Fedoke), and the Nutcracker (Du-Shant “Fik-shun” Stegall) whom she brings to life.

Maria-Clara’s journey takes her from the streets of New York to fantasy worlds where she battles mice and toy soldiers (Viktor White, BDash, Kevin “Konkrete” Davis), and back in time to the Land of Sweets to find the key to unlocking the holiday wish her. Will it be enough to rekindle her parents’ lost love before the clock strikes midnight? The special features top dancers Mikhail Baryshnikov, Tiler Peck, KidaTheGreat AKA Kida Burns, Jabbawockeez as magical snowflakes and more.

Life and Death in Paradise: Crocs of the Caribbean (Special)

Survival on the Caribbean islands of Cuba and Hispaniola requires adaptation. Over time, new species, such as the bizarre, poisonous solenodon, have formed. Few adaptations are as dramatic as the Cuban crocodile, which has grown longer legs and is now more at home on land than any other crocodile.
