Netflix, Amazon and Marriot Bonvoy lead the list of FAVORITE apps

The latest BRAG Brand Insights report from Digital Turbine and Apptopia provides brand-focused mobile growth insights for market leaders and UA marketers.

AUSTIN, Texas and BOSTON, March 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Digital Turbine, Inc. (Nasdaq: APPS, a global leader in mobile ecosystem growth solutions, and Apptopia Inc.the market leader in real-time competitive intelligence, published by the Q1 2023 BRAG (Brand Relative App Growth) Brand Insights Report, as part of an ongoing series of reports. The latest report reveals new insights into consumer perceptions of branded mobile apps across five app categories – streaming video, streaming audio, shopping, social media and travel.

First released in 2020, the BRAG Index provides UA managers and market leaders with new insights into how leading brands are driving mobile growth.

Digital Turbine and Apptopia ranked the top apps Brand love, Brand Powerand “Love Compass“, which measure the evolution of brand opinion.

In partnership with GWI, Digital Turbine surveyed more than 1,000 US consumers and published results showing consumers love brand apps.

Brand love the strength of favorable opinions, the willingness to recommend and the trust measured among those who are familiar with each application. Brand Power measures how well a brand has converted consumer interest in app installs. And Love Compass measures opinion change—specifically, how many users have reported an improvement or deterioration in opinion over the past 90 days.

The leaders of each indicator in the five categories are as follows:

  • Brand love: Netflix, Amazon Music, Amazon, Life360 and Marriott Bonvoy
  • Brand Power: Prime Video, Amazon Music, Amazon, Messenger and TripAdvisor
  • Love Compass: Paramount+, TouchTunes, Fetch, BeReal, Marriott Bonvoy

Other notable app leaders include Fly Delta, which placed second for brand love and third for love compass in the travel category, and Paramount+ in the streaming video category, which had the strongest love compass rating of all apps, but did not perform well . among consumers who recommend the application to others.
