Mrs. Marvel Season 2 Gets Release Update: When Will It Premiere?

An exciting update on a potential second season for Mrs. Marvel on Disney+ recently came online.

This isn’t the first fans have heard of a second effort for the popular Disney+ series. Back last September, scooper Daniel Richtman revealed that Marvel Studios had reportedly greenlit another round of episodes.

This prospect was teased by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, two directors of Season 1, when they asked fans in an interview, “who’s ready for season 2?!” In a separate conversation, Arbi mentioned specific wishes “more madness” if more episodes were to happen.

In December, a report from Murphy’s Multiverse shared that when Marvel Studios cast Kamala Khan in the MCU, they fully intended to create a second season for her series.

Now it looks like they will be able to follow through.

Mrs. Marvel Season 2 Before Secret Wars?

In a new “Tales From the Mod Queue” post on Reddit’s r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers, the subreddit’s sources revealed some new information about Mrs. Marvelsecond season yet to be confirmed.

According to the subreddit’s sources, who have been credible in the past, Mods claim both Mrs. Marvel and Moon Knight will not only get second seasons, but they will also premiere sooner Avengers: Secret Wars.

Both IPs would join Loki as the only Disney+ series to get a second season. Projects such as Hawkeye and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has not yet received the honor.

When will Ms. Marvel season 2 out?

As exciting as it is for the fans to get closer to a new season Mrs. Marvelit’s hard to imagine exactly where it fits into the schedule.

As of San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Marvel Studios had eight slots open, all of which were part of Phase 6.

However, these empty spaces are basically already filled up with rumored projects and release windows; Panzerwarrior, Vision Quest, World War Hulk, Shang Chi 2, Doctor Strange 3, Novaand Wonder Man-to mention a few.

However, since these announcements, there have been several changes to Marvel Studios’ release schedule, such as Secret Wars will be delayed until May 1, 2026. It doesn’t look like all of these changes will stop anytime soon, potentially opening up unannounced release slots.

Given how tightly packed the slate is, fans probably shouldn’t expect Mrs. Marvelits second season debuting somewhat earlier than 2025 – especially if Agatha: Coven of Chaos has really been delayed until the same year.

As for what a new season might mean for Kamala, she’ll have plenty of time to explore the ramifications of her adventures in The Marvels before he was again let into a big team-up. But with this in mind, hopefully, Marvel Studios can push out more episodes of the show sooner Avengers: Kang Dynasty debuts on May 2, 2025.

Mrs. Marvel currently streaming on Disney+, and The Marvels will hit theaters on July 28, 2023.
