Love Island’s Jessie befriends Will on their final barn dance date

The hotly anticipated final dates continued on Friday night’s episode of Love Island as the countdown to the grand final continues.
And Will Young and Jessie Wynter enjoyed a fun barn dance date and even patted a few sheep as they returned to Will’s farming roots.
Arriving at a barn, they were met by a band and dancers, where Will, 23, brought out his best moves.
The pair both wore jeans for the evening, with Will completing his look with a cowboy hat and boots, while Jessie rocked a pair of sparkly silver boots.
After Will showed off his ‘dancing dad’, the pair sat down for drinks and some food.
The conversation quickly turned to their time together in the South African villa and their future, with Jessie thinking she wouldn’t fall for the show “that hard”.
He said: “I had the best time here with you, I never thought I’d meet someone I’m so in love with.
“You’ve been so supportive the whole way, I want you to know how special you are to me.”
Jessie then popped the all-important question to Will as she shared her desire to finally make things official.
He said, “I want you to be my friend.”
To which an overly happy and emotional Will replied: “I think I’m going to cry.”
After the pair finally agreed to be boyfriend and girlfriend, they jumped up and hugged and kissed each other tightly as they seemed more in love than ever.
Later at the villa, Jessie told the girls that she wanted Will to “feel loved” by asking him to make things official.
As he celebrated with his fellow islanders, he added: “Why should the boy do it?”
They’re not the only couple to have made things official, as Shaq Muhammad popped the question to Tanya Manhenga on their date, while Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins have already done so.
In another part of the episode, Kai and Sanam were the fifth and final couple to go on a date and dressed up to impress suit-wearing Kai and Sanam in a stunning black evening gown.
As they walked into the decadent space, lit by sweeping staircases and romantic candles, a pianist played music for them.
When they discussed their future, Kai talked about his family as he told Sanam, “My mom is going to absolutely adore you because you’re literally the kindest-hearted girl I’ve ever met, and she’s going to see how good you are to me.”
Kai and Sanam have bonded over their careers as well, as she said, “Our careers are so similar that it takes a special person to be in the careers we’ve both been in, I’m a teacher and you’re a children’s social worker.”
Sanam said: “I love hearing you talk about your work, I just love this side of you, I think it’s amazing.
‘I was also drawn to the fact that you have to be a certain type of person to work with children and to really love them shows how kind your heart is.’
After sharing a kiss, Kai and Sanam considered which couple they would vote as the least compatible.
At the end of the dates, each couple was forced to choose which couple was the least compatible, with Will and Jessie, Lana and Ron, Kai and Sanam all being vulnerable.
It depends on a public vote which couple will leave the island a few days before the much-anticipated final on Monday.
