Love Island stars Zara and Jordan confirm they are ‘definitely’ dating and ‘shared a kiss’

They may not have found love in the villa, but they are being tested by the outside world.

Former Love Island contestants Jordan Odofin, 28, and Zara Lackenby-Brown, 25, confirmed they are “definitely” dating and even plan to travel together.

The couple revealed they started seeing each other after returning to the UK and have since gone on four dates together.

Praising each other’s “maturity” and “vibe”, they also said that there is “no need to rush” things to get serious, but they really enjoy each other’s company.

Speaking about reality with Will Njobvu, Jordan gushed over his new flame.

He said: “I found it and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

“I love your energy.” Apart from his looks, of course, it’s the energy. When it’s just me and Zara, we vibrate.

Zara returned the compliment: “I like that he’s mature. Having been in the villa, I know there is not much maturity from these boys. This is a grown man.

“The connection was just there.” We’ve talked a lot about the show and how cool it would have been if we had fights on the show, but they happen. I think it just shows that we would be honest in any environment.

When asked if they have an official title yet, Zara said: “We are definitely dating.

“There is no real sense of rush like in the villa.” We don’t try to compare ourselves to other islanders. I mean, there’s a little bit of pressure from the fans—we’re called Jara.

“We kissed.” Natural, pleasant atmosphere, good chemistry.

Jordan added: “I’m happy. Like I’m so happy. I really can’t complain.

Slowly: The couple revealed they started seeing each other after returning to the UK and have since enjoyed four dates together.

“It would have been nice to spend time with Zara at the villa, but everything happens for a reason.” The way it’s going – I’m just enjoying it.

‘I can see he’s going somewhere. But I don’t like to pressure things – I like to go with the flow.

This comes after the couple hit out at show bosses for not allowing them to bond in the villa.

The couple said they felt “robbed” when they entered the villa days apart and insisted it was obvious they would have been perfect for each other.

Zara told the Sunday People: “They [the producers] I knew Jordan was my type before I walked in.

“I left the villa without the man of my dreams and days after Jordan arrived. I understand that they have a story to follow, but I deserved to find love.

Jordan said she expected to be paired with Zara at the villa, but soon after she arrived, she found out she was given the shoes from the show.

She said: “Before I went in I was asked for my top three and I said Zara is the first so of course I’m looking for her.

This comes after Jordan admitted on The Morning After podcast with Indiyah Polack and Sam Thompson that he recently popped into Zara’s DMs to “take a shot.”

He said: “In Aftersun I talked about Zara. And on the way home I was with my boys and I said, “Should I text Zara right now?”

“As I headed for the DMs, [it said] ‘typing’.’

Shocked podcast host and former Love Island star Indiyah exclaimed: “Oh my God, this is fate! You will get married, you will be together!

Asked what Zara sent him, Jordan replied: “Oh, I saw you at Aftersun. There was a little chat here and there.

Co-host Sam asked: “Did you get butterflies?”

Jordan replied, “Yes! I can’t lie, my brother pulled the car over, my other son was there, and yes, we were a little excited.

Jordan said he wasn’t his “usual type” at the villa after learning Zara had been dumped before his arrival.

He said: “My usual type wasn’t in the villa when I got there.”
