Love is blind almost back!
In the upcoming fourth season of the reality dating show, 30 Seattle singles embark on an unconventional journey to find love — and decide to get married without ever meeting their partner.
As fans know, hopefuls meet potential matches through speed dating, which prohibits singles from meeting each other.
In the new trailer for the series, things get off to a dramatic start when one of the men declares, “I made a bad choice and now I’m offering another woman.”
Tiffany worries that she is too old to find her perfect match. “I have doubts about being my age and not finding a man,” she says.
Brett opens up about the pods and tells his potential match, “You can imagine this great future with someone, and then that person disappears.”
There will be plenty of tears and tense moments before the group celebrates their engagement and heads off on a tropical honeymoon. But once there, newly engaged individuals struggle to connect their emotional connections with their physical ones.
“It’s weird seeing him in person, bro,” Kwame admits to Brett.
Tiffany also makes her intentions clear, telling the group, “If you’re here to sabotage my love life, I’m keeping my eyes open.”
Later, as some of the men adjust to living with a partner, Kwame shares, “We live in a house together. It’s a full grown-up,” while Paul adds, “It’s a huge amount to risk for a lifetime commitment.”
Zack worries about how he can move forward in a relationship without family support.
“I don’t want to be in a marriage where your parents hate you,” she says. “You know Romeo and Juliet didn’t work for a reason.”
As couples get closer to the altar, more and more doubts arise about their romantic future. One of the singles says, “One more week until I get married,” as Micah asks, “Do you feel like asking?”
Jackelina also gets heated at one point, aggressively telling her partner, “We’re not having sex, bro. You’re going to get a migraine.”
Marshall is also candid about his relationship. “The emotional connection is very intense,” she tells the cameras.
Kwame shares that he’s always been the one to make sacrifices in a relationship, explaining, “I feel like I’m a person who tends to compromise a lot.”
While other contestants fret over the “compulsion” to tie the knot, Micah puts it all at the altar.
“The best thing I can do for us at this point is to give you a chance to answer first,” he says.
