Is Andor releasing episode 13 on Wednesday November 30?
*WARNING: Spoilers ahead for Andor episode 12*
Since hitting our screens, Andor has quickly cemented itself as one of the best entries in the Star Wars franchise.
Each episode has slowly added to Cassian Andor’s snowballing hatred of the Empire and drive to join the growing rebellion fighting against Imperial oppression.
All of this built up to an explosive crescendo on Ferrix in episode 12 as the populace fought back against their oppressors.
However, an agonizing cliffhanger in the final moments of the episode has Andor fans wondering if an episode 13 is coming on November 30.
Andor episode 12 recap
Titled Rix Road, episode 12 of Andor was a thoroughly emotional affair as the people of Ferrix came together for the funeral of Maarva Andor.
Knowing that the funeral would be their best bet to find Cassian Andor, Dedra Meero and the ISB allowed the event to take place, but had their own list of caveats, such as changing the time and limiting the number of attendees.
But the people of Ferrix carried out the funeral as they wished, with a large crowd gathering on Rix Road to pay their respects and listen to a holographic speech Maarva recorded before her death.
Maarva’s inspirational speech ignited fury among the imperial onlookers, and a brawl broke out that quickly erupted into a full-blown riot when Wilmon Paak, son of the murdered Salman, threw a homemade bomb at the Empire’s headquarters.
In the confusion, Cassian managed to sneak into the Imperial base undetected and managed to rescue Bix, still feeling the effects of her torture at the hands of Dr Gorst.
After helping Bix, Brasso, B2EMO and several others escape the planet, Cassian then went to confront Luthen Rael who had traveled to Ferrix in hopes of killing Andor so that he would not reveal any details of the Aldhani robbery if he was to be captured by. the kingdom.
However, the episode ended on an agonizing cliffhanger (“No, you can’t end it there” I yelled at the TV) as Andor stared down Luthen, giving him the perfect opportunity to pull the trigger and kill him.
Before the episode ended for good, episode 12 offered one last surprise as there was a post-credits scene that revealed exactly what the prisoners on Narkina 5 had built.
Will there be an episode 13 in Andor season 1?
Unfortunately not. Andor will not have an episode 13 in its first season.
That’s right, episode 12 was the season finale, which means there won’t be a new episode on November 30.
After Andor’s first three episodes premiered on September 21, one new chapter has arrived every week since and after nine weeks the season ended with episode 12 on November 23.
This means that the entire release schedule looks like this:

- Would be me | September 21st
- Bill | September 21st
- Aldhani | September 28
- The ax forgets | October 5
- The eye | 12 October

Season 2 is confirmed
While Andor’s first season may have come to an end, fans can take comfort in the fact that the series has been confirmed for a second season.
In May 2022, Lucasfilm announced that Andor had been renewed for a second and final season which, like Season 1, would also consist of 12 episodes.
While the events of Season 1 took place exclusively over one year, 5 BBY, Season 2 will tell its story over the next four years, leading right into the events of Rogue One, the movie where we first met Cassian Andor.
However, fans will likely have to wait until 2024 for season 2 according to showrunner Tony Gilroy, as filming for the second season only began in November 2022 and is expected to last until August 2023.
Andor is available to stream now on Disney+ in its entirety after the final episode of Season 1 aired on November 23, 2022.
