New updates will appear at the bottom of the story…….
The original story (published on July 1, 2022) is as follows:
Since its founding in 2006, Spotify has taken the world by storm. It is used by millions worldwide and is the largest player in the music streaming industry with over 31% of the total market share.
But despite Spotify’s huge advantage over the competition, the platform seems to be losing ground with services like Apple Music, Deezer and Amazon Music stepping up their game.
However, subscribers have complained about issues such as Discover Weekly recommendations not updating and Spotify not playing certain songs when using Google Assistant in recent weeks.
And now many Spotify users are complaining that the app won’t load or gets stuck on the black loading screen. This makes it impossible for many to listen to their favorite music.
Unfortunately, common troubleshooting solutions like reinstalling the app, clearing data and cache, and even rolling back to an older version won’t help.

my spotify is stuck on the loading screen since i signed out of my account yesterday. I’ve tried everything I can find online so I’m just wondering if anyone has any other ideas? It all happened very randomly. I have an Android Samsung S20 FE 4G phone

Tried changing my download storage from internal to SD card. But then spotify restarted and just stayed at the black loading screen with the logo. I tried restarting the phone, reinstalling the app (with and without the sd card in the phone), downloading an older version and a clean install, but nothing worked. Every time I try to open the app I just get a black screen with the logo and nothing happens until my phone turns off. Spotify still works on my computer and my phone has enough storage.
