How to set screen time limits for your iPhone apps
The Screen Time section of your iPhone shows how much time you’ve spent in each app installed on your Apple device. It also provides a lot of information about how to use your iPhone and iPad. It also offers statistics and figures about things like the number of notifications a user receives and how often they check their phone.
App limits: Set screen time limits for apps
The Screen Time section is the hub for tracking app usage behavior. Here you can use the App Restrictions option to restrict the usage of apps for different apps. Additionally, the feature allows you to set a time limit for an entire category of apps, such as games or social media, as well as specific apps.
How to set screen time limits for apps on your iPhone
On your iPhone, open the Settings menu.
Then tap on Screen time Option.
After that you need to turn on the switch Screen time option (if you haven’t already done so).
Touch the Limitations of applications option and press the button Add limit orb.
Select one or more app categories for which you want to set screen time limits.
Tap a category name to view all apps in that category, then select the category or apps you want to restrict. It is important to note that the time limit you choose applies to all selected categories or applications.
Tap Next and then set the time allowed. You can tap on the “Customize Days” option and then set separate time limits for each day.
Hit the Addition button when you have finished setting the limits for the apps you want.
Also, you can disable screen time limits for these apps at any time. To temporarily turn off all app restrictions, just tap on App Restrictions. Whereas, if you want to temporarily turn off the time limit for a particular category, then tap on the category and then turn off the “Application Limit” switch. Additionally, if you want to permanently remove a category’s time limit, you can do so simply by tapping on the category and then ‘Remove Limit’.
