Hide iPhone apps

This guide aims to show you how to hide apps on your iPhone and still keep them on the device. You can easily do this on your iPhone. It’s a handy feature to have on your iPhone, and this guide explains everything you need to know to do it on your device.
There are many reasons why you might want to hide apps on your iPhone, and the home screen may be too busy with too many apps. You can choose to hide a single app on your device or a page of apps.
How to hide a single app on iPhone?
To hide a single app on your device, select the app you want, then long press the app until the menu shown in the image above appears. Select next “Remove Application” from the menu offers two options: Delete application or Remove from home screen. One must be chosen “Remove from home screen”. In this example, I wanted to remove the Facebook app from my home screen.
Once you select “Remove from Home Screen”, the app will disappear from your iPhone’s home screen. As you can see, it is very easy to remove an app from the iPhone home screen without deleting the app. This means that the application can still be used at any time, it just does not take up space on the home screen. If you select Delete App, it will completely remove the app from your device and delete all data.

An app removed from the Home screen is still on your device, now stored in your iPhone’s app library.
This means you can easily find the app on your device and use the search function when you swipe your iPhone to the right. Just type the name of the app, in this case ‘Google Maps’, and it will appear and you can click on it to launch the app.
How to hide multi-app page on iPhone?
If you want to hide more than one app on your iPhone, you can hide a whole page of apps on your handset, it’s very easy to do, and it’s easy to restore the page of those apps.
To hide the Apps page on your iPhone, drag your finger to the page you want to hide, then press on a part of the page that doesn’t have any apps until the apps start to jiggle on the screen. Then the minus sign appears next to the applications and some dots at the bottom of the display.
Press the dots at the bottom of the display and the page menu will appear, then you can uncheck the page you want to hide on your iPhone. The page will then be hidden, but the apps will still be available from the app library.
If you want to get the apps page back on your iPhone, then click anywhere on the iPhone home screen until the apps start to jiggle and the minus sign appears, it will take you to the page menu. Select the page you want to display on your iPhone’s home screen and it will reset.
The app page must be reset, you can specify how many app pages you have on your device, and you can hide the iPhone apps you want to remove from the home screen.
