Scottie Pippen’s ex dating Michael Jordan’s son seems like something of an oddity, but Larsa Pippen doesn’t see a problem with her romance with Marcus Jordan.
When Larsa Pippen its February 28 episode stopped it Tamron Hall Showhost Tamron Hall he realized the essence of his new relationship Marcus Jordan. “Are you in love?” Tamron, 52, asked Larsa, 48. “I think so,” said Larsa. “We are in a very good place. I feel like a lot of people think we’ve known each other our whole lives, but we haven’t. “Well,” Tamron interjected, “he’s sixteen years younger.” [than you]so it’s not possible.”
From there, Tamron asked Larsa about the age difference — and how Larsa can date Michael Jordanhis son, who knows full well that Jordan doesn’t get along with his former teammate (and Larsa’s ex) Scottie Pippen. “I basically can’t explain what other people feel,” Larsa said of Scottie’s bad feelings for Michael. “Personally, I don’t really care what other people do – I live my truth. I’m happy. We are happy. I feel [Marcus] my best friend. We have a lot in common.”
“We literally just met at a party four years ago,” Larsa explained in the interview, saying she knew who Marcus was because “they have a lot of mutual friends” and a lot of time together in the years leading up to their romance. “We’re both from Chicago.” I feel like we have a lot in common, like a lot of common ground.” Larsa also defended the 16-year age difference. “There are different circumstances, [but] age doesn’t really determine your level of maturity.”
Larsa also said she “didn’t plan” to date Michael Jordan’s son. “I don’t like this, I didn’t plan it,” said Larsa. He revealed that he met Marcus’ parents – Michael, 60, and Juanita Vanoy – but he didn’t want to make contact about them. “It’s not about my parents or his parents.” They are all happy. Our whole family is fine. I feel like it’s more about where I am and where he is there is. I feel like we’re in a great place. We motivate each other. We are very happy to be together and I feel that is the most important thing.”
The first rumors of a Pippen-Jordan relationship began in September, a year after Larsa’s divorce from Scottie became final. She initially kept the relationship under wraps due to the Michael-Scottie beef (mainly because she knew she’d be harassed by Bulls fans and trolls for it), but in January they went public with their romance with a PDA in Miami. Soon after, they made their romance official on Instagram.
