Helen Skelton ‘made big money offer from Celebs Go Dating to appear on show’

Helen Skelton has reportedly been offered a big money deal on Celebs Go Dating after splitting with ex-husband Richie Myler.

The 39-year-old TV presenter has already appeared on Strictly Come Dancing last year and The Sun reports that Channel 4 are keen to sign her up for a date.

Speaking to the publication, a source said: “Helen has already proven she’s great on TV and is very interesting to watch.

“The public felt for her after her break-up and her bosses would all love to see her dating.

They are willing to offer her big bucks to participate, but Helen doesn’t really seem interested in them sharing that part of her life. It would take a lot to make him change his mind.

Helen announced her split from rugby league player Richie, 32, in April 2022, just four months after the birth of their third child, as he reportedly started a relationship with fellow 32-year-old Stephanie Thirkill.

Six months later, it was revealed the new couple were expecting their first child together, and Richie flaunted his girlfriend’s baby bump in black and white this week.

While her ex-husband prepares to welcome another child, it looks like Helen may be moving on – after reports emerged this week that she is ‘going on a casual date’ with strictly professional Vito Coppola.

Helen was partnered with professional dancer Gorka Marquez, 32, in the last series of the show, but it is now claimed that her friendship with Italian Vito has blossomed.

The pair reportedly “bonded” while traveling between cities on the tour bus.

A source told the Mirror: “Helen and Vito were good friends during Strictly but they were very close during the tour.

“There were two buses with the cast – the party bus and the silent bus.

“They spent a lot of time on the quiet bus chatting and getting to know each other. They have a lot in common – like a love of the outdoors.

“Between the performances, the two of them also spent time together, for example they went for coffee.

– Then, when the whole group has gone to dinner, they sit together, deep in conversation.

The source added that Helen was keen to stay away from Vito when people pulled out their phones as she didn’t want them to be seen in the background near the dancer when photos or videos were being taken.

Richie took to social media for the first time this week to acknowledge his girlfriend’s pregnancy with the new post, simply captioned with a love heart emoji.

Back in autumn 2022, a source told The Sun that Stephanie and Richie are “excited” to be expecting their first child, just six months after their relationship went public.

Stephanie is the daughter of Leeds Rhinos chairman Andrew Thirkill, who is one of Leeds’ richest businessmen and is worth an estimated £175 million.
