FKA Twigs introduces friend Jordan Hemingway amid Shia LaBeouf lawsuit

The latter was reposted by Hemingway on his Instagram Story with black hearts.

The post was Twigs’ first confirmation that she and Matt Healy had split since speculation broke out last year.

She and The 1975 frontman, 33, began dating in 2020 and reportedly called it quits in the summer of 2022.

Before their breakup, Healy publicly praised his then-girlfriend for the lawsuit she filed against LaBeouf over their alleged abusive relationship.

The “About You” singer called Twigs a “legend” and “icon” in December 2020, referring to her as her “love.” [his] life.”

Twigs dated LaBeouf, 36, from 2018 to 2019 after meeting on the set of Honey Boy.

In her lawsuit, she sued alum “Even Stevens” for sexual harassment, harassment and emotional distress.

Although LaBeouf denied his ex’s claims, he issued a statement apologizing for the “hurt”[ing] the people closest to him for years, noting that he has since become a “sober member of a 12-step program.”

By August 2022, the still-sober actor credited Twigs’ assault allegations with saving his life.

“When I think about what happened in my life like that, my old man was so upset, so offended by the woman who accused me of all this,” the filmmaker told Bishop Robert Barron of Word on Fire Catholic Ministries at the time.

“I see now that she saved my life,” he continued. “The change of perspective is an amazing feeling.”

The following month, the former Disney Channel star revealed his reconciliation with wife Mia Goth and the birth of their daughter Isabel.

While LaBeouf’s trial date was originally set for April 17, it was pushed back to November 1 at the earliest.
