Next up: However, it’s only a matter of months before the popular ITV dating competition returns to screens for its classic summer series in Mallorca.

The description on the application form reads: “How do you like love in the sun? ITV2 is looking for spirited singles from all over the UK who want to head towards the sun in search of love!

“The selected actors will spend time in a luxury villa to get to know each other, but in order to stay in paradise, they must win the hearts of the audience and their fellow islanders, who will ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.

“If you think you have what it takes, we want to hear from you right away.”

Applications are currently open and will remain open until ITV announces a closing date on the Love Island website.

Kai and Sanam were crowned the winners of Love Island 2023 winter 2023 on Monday night – beating original couple Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins to take home £50,000 in prize money.

After eight weeks of drama, the viewers chose the social worker and the physical education teacher as champions – who fell for each other during Casa Amor.

This is the first time the Casa Amor Bomber has entered the show and won in the show’s eight-year history.

The 24-year-old couple were left speechless when presenter Maya Jama announced the results during the live final in South Africa.

Tom Clare, 23, and Samie Elishi, 22, finished third in the competition, while airport security officers Shaq Muhammad, 24, and Tanya Manhenga, 22, came first.
