Deavan Clegg is engaged to Christopher Park

Deavan and Chris, 30, welcomed their first child together in October 2022, affectionately named “Baby Park,” and explains that they got engaged during a birthday getaway to Salt Lake City, Utah, which was originally postponed so he could stay there. by his son Taeyang’s side while he was hospitalized amid his battle with cancer. During the trip, the Utah native said she found out early on that Chris was planning to propose and got “outraged.”

“Then the next day he was late picking me up because he had to go to the hairdresser,” she continues, recounting the “rough” proposal. “Then he called me and said he had a flat tire and I said, ‘Oh, he’s lying. As if to buy time, maybe get flowers. It turned out that he really had a flat tire.”

When Chris finally returned to their hotel room, he finally got a phone call that night saying “something bad happened and he had to go to work.”

After being stuck at work for hours and not returning until 3am, she says she was “sad” and thought an offer wasn’t going to happen. The next morning, while packing up in their hotel room, she turned to suddenly find Chris on one knee.

Although it “didn’t go as planned at all,” she says the proposal “fits their story perfectly.”

“There always seems to be something wild going on,” Deavan explains. “So everyone was joking around saying it was the perfect deal for us because of how crazy our lives are.”

The pair first sparked engagement rumors after they were spotted wearing rings on their left ring fingers, but Deavan explains the reason behind the jewellery.

“We had a pair of rings and the only reason we wore this pair of rings is a funny story, but he wanted to take me as an extra one to his friend’s wedding, but his friend said there are no girlfriends, only grooms and wives. Deavan says. “So we wore those rings to go to a wedding and I never took them off.”

Before taking the next step in their relationship, Deavan and Chris announced that they are expecting their first child together in May 2022. “We are happy to announce that baby Park will arrive in the fall of 2022. That same month, Deavan announced that her divorce from estranged husband Jihoon had become final. The former couple met in 2018 and started dating in seasons 1 and 2 90 Day Fiancé: Different. In April 2019, they welcomed Taeyang. They broke up in the spring of 2020 and Deavan moved back to the United States from Jihoon’s native South Korea. Deavan and Chris first crossed paths in 2018 on a flight to South Korea when she was still in a relationship with her ex-husband. When Deavan returned to America in the spring of 2020, she and Chris reconnected through social media and immediately started dating. Chris also took on the role of stepfather to his daughter Drascilla and stepfather to son Taeyang.
