These apps were first discovered by Thailand’s Department of Digital Economy and Society (DES) and the UK’s National Cyber ​​Security Center (NCSC).

DES has decided to warn the public about these dangerous Android and iOS apps on its official Facebook page. The social media post listed three main dangerous atrocities that these apps commit. Steal personal data, drain users’ bank accounts, and remotely take over infected smartphones to commit identity theft.

Neither the DES nor the NCSC have determined what type of malware these apps spread. It’s just that they’re dangerous apps and they’re working with Google and Apple to get rid of these apps from their stores.
