Daisy Jones & The Six star Suki Waterhouse has been dating Robert Pattinson for 5 years

They’ve been together for a while, but the notoriously private Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson didn’t make their red carpet debut until December 2022. Since then, Waterhouse has reflected publicly on the relationship, admitting in an interview with The Sunday Times Style in February that she was “shocked that I’ve been so happy with someone for almost five years”.

The longest the pair have spent apart is two months, which is surprising given their busy schedule. Waterhouse stars in the Amazon Prime Video series “Daisy Jones & The Six,” which premiered March 3, and apparently even tried to get her friend from “The Batman” to help her audition. “Rob definitely doesn’t get any acting advice from me, but of course I’ll try to get him to help out with an audition before he falls asleep on the couch,” she said.

The pair were first linked in 2018 when they were spotted kissing on the streets of London. They were spotted leaving Waterhouse’s 27th birthday party together in 2019, Per Elle, and Pattinson publicly acknowledged the relationship for the first time in an interview with The Sunday Times. They spent the pandemic together and are still going strong in 2023.

Waterhouse and Pattinson are no strangers to high-profile relationships. The former dated Bradley Cooper when he was 38 and she was 21, while Pattinson dated singer FKA Twigs for three years. “I was depressed for a while,” Waterhouse told The Sunday Times of her breakup with Cooper. “It stuck around for a long time. I think it was the breakup and being in my twenties and in the damn trenches.” The public nature of the relationship made the breakup even more difficult. “You keep reading about how much prettier the new girlfriend is or whatever. It sounds stupid, but when you’re actually the one who’s broken, it’s pretty rough,” he added.

Before dating Pattinson, she also hung out with Prince Harry before meeting Meghan Markle. “He came to a party at my house once and he was very nice and very sweet,” she said. “I had uncles and aunts and everybody there.”

Waterhouse and Pattinson are now both conscious of keeping their relationship out of the spotlight, especially since Pattinson is constantly suspicious of the paparazzi. “He thinks people are chasing him even when we’re sitting on the couch. He just has that mentality,” Waterhouse said. The couple is clearly compatible, they laugh with a similar background. “We always say I never, ever thought I’d be dating a boy from Barnes and she didn’t think she was dating a girl from Chiswick,” she said.

Ultimately, it’s clear that Waterhouse is well-loved with the “Twilight” heartthrob. “I’m always incredibly excited when I see his name come up [on my phone] or even a text, and I think he feels the same way about me,” she continued. “We always have so much to say, and I find it funny.” He said he also sees a family in their future and revealed that he wants children one day, although he admitted that there is no time for that. “You have to be like, ‘I’m going to be a sitting cow for a while,’ but it’s worth it,” he said. I can not wait. I wish you could click your fingers to make it happen.”
