Indian audiences need no introduction to South Korean dramas. Fans of k-dramas and k-movies are huge in the subcontinent. OTT platforms like Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video and Viki are making k-dramas, k-movies available to viewers in the subcontinent. Recently, a lot of Korean content streamed (or will soon start streaming) online — from Reborn Rich on Viki, to Crazy Love on Hotstar, to Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow on Netflix India, to Hunt on Prime Video, with these the South Korean OTT content fans have been a happy bunch. Connect, the South Korean series is the next drama in the series to be available digitally. Connect stars actor Jung Hae-in, who was seen in Snowdrop in the lead role. Connect OTT Release date: Where and when you can stream online

The K-drama Connect from 2022 is now streaming on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. All six series episodes are now streaming online on the OTT platform. They have started streaming just today, 7th December 2022. The subscribers of Hotstar can watch the series without extra cost.

The OTT platform’s official social media handle on Twitter, Disney+ Hotstar, shared the news that the highly anticipated South Korean thriller Connect is now streaming. At the 27th Busan International Film Festival, the first three episodes of the series were shown.

Connect cast and crew

Connect stars Jung Hae-in, Go Kyung-pyo, Kim Hye-jun, Kim Roi-ha, and Jang Gwang. Takashi Miike is the director of the series. Screenplay is by Masaru Nakamura and Ha-dam. Produced by Kim Young-kyu, Kim Jey-hyun, Jang Jeong-do and Song Jin-sun, under the banner Studio Dragon, Lee’z Film, Studio HIM. Sim Hyeon-jeong is a music composer.

Connect Storyline

The series is a psychological thriller with elements of suspense, mystery and fantasy. It is based on a web series of the same name, created by Shin Dae-sung. Ha Dong-soo’s (Jung Hae-in) ordinary life is turned upside down when he loses his eye to an organ hunter. Dong-soo is connected to the vision of a serial kerial, the person who received the organ transplant. Ha Dong-soo is an immortal humanoid who lost one eye. Oh Jin-seok (Go Kyung-pyo) is a serial killer. He has received an eye transplant from Connect. Lee I-rang (Kim Hye-jun), is a mysterious helper who knows the secret behind Connect. Kim Roi-ha essays the role of Detective Choi.
