Christine McGuinness Can’t Imagine Living With Any Man But Ex Paddy Amid Dating Fears

Christine McGuinness has admitted she can’t imagine living with any man but her ex Paddy McGuinness as she revealed her fears about dating after being single for the first time in 15 years.
Christine McGuinness has opened up about her dating fears – admitting she can’t imagine living with any man other than her ex.
The model and TV personality confirmed that she has separated from her husband, but the couple are still living together to support their three autistic children. Christine, who is also autistic, admitted she struggles with the change and can’t imagine living with anyone but her ex since they’ve been together for so long.
Christine explained that her autism makes it difficult for her to accept change as she opened up about her fears about dating in the future following her split from the Top Gear star.
In a clip from her documentary, aired on ITV’s Lorraine, she said: “I think the changes for me, even though they’re huge, I do everything very slowly. I try not to pretend it doesn’t always fit.
“And then, for example, with my marriage, I’ve been with my husband since I was 19. I’ve only had this one man in my life for 15 years. I can’t imagine living with anyone else. I don’t know what it’s like to date anyway.”
She added: “I don’t remember being single and now I’m in this situation where I don’t really know what to do with it, and then I’m just going into a new chapter on my own, which is petrified. for someone who doesn’t like change.”
Christine has previously insisted that she and Paddy’s children know no different despite the split.
Speaking to Women’s Own, the model said of the couple’s life situation: “The children are happy and growing up in a happy and loving home – I just want it to continue. We don’t know what the future holds, but it’s working for now. I will struggle a lot with the idea that I will end up in separate houses together as parents.”
She explained how she stayed in the marriage because it was where she felt most comfortable and she didn’t like change.
“I felt like I said in the movie, I don’t want my family to ever fall apart. And that’s why I stayed married,” she added in her documentary: “As an autistic woman, I like to stay where I’m comfortable. I like things to stay the same
“And I think that’s what I chose to do. But sometimes change has to happen.”
