Frosty returns is an animated Christmas movie that has become a holiday favorite since its release in 1992. The premise features Frosty the Snowman and a lonely girl who discovers him. As winter slowly ends, she must come up with a plan to keep Frosty alive by hiding him in her freezer and trying to convince the townspeople to protect him despite their dislike of snow. This movie can be a fun holiday movie to share with the family.
Disney+ debuted The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on November 25
Marvel Studios was recently produced The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, written and directed by James Gunn. The venue has a bounty hunt for Peter Quill from the rest of the crew. Paramount+ added Robbie the Reindeer Specials on November 26
Robbie the reindeer is a series of animated comedy specials co-produced by the BBC and the charity Comic Relief. The first special, Robbie the Reindeer: Hooves of Fire, was released in 1999, and the sequel Robbie the Reindeer: The Legend of the Lost Tribe, was released just three years later in 2002. Both specials are now available on Paramount+ and can serve as yet another addition to Christmas watch lists.
Snoopy, Come Home dropped on Paramount+ this month
Snoopy, come home! is an animated musical comedy-drama based on Peanuts character named Snoopy, Charlie Brown’s pet. The dog embarks on his own adventure with his friend Woodstock, traveling to visit a friend named Lila in the hospital. But Charlie Brown discovers that Lila is Snoopy’s previous owner and that this trip will mean the loss of Snoopy forever. The film was released in 1972 and still serves as an adorable family-friendly movie.
Paramount+ brings a Christmas carol to the platform this month
Jim Carrey starred as Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (2009), a computer-animated Christmas film. Robert Zemeckis wrote and directed the film which featured Gary Oldman and Colin Firth as part of the cast. The film was praised for its excellent performances from the star-studded cast and could serve as a perfect movie to share with the family.
