Austen Kroll sang a different tune before hooking up with Taylor Ann Green.
The “Southern Charm” veteran said in a newly released interview in October 2022 that dating the co-star would go against the “bro code.”
Kroll, 55, explained to Us Weekly at the time that since Green, 28, was dating boyfriend Shep Rose, a relationship would “really … cross a lot of lines” and “affect a bunch of friendships.”
However, she noted, “I love Taylor and cherish her friendship and we’ve become very close.”
As for what cemented their bond, Kroll revealed that she and Green’s exes — she was Olivia Flowers — were their “favorite subject” to talk about.
“She’ll talk to me about Shep and I’ll talk about Olivia,” she told the magazine.
More Page Six for reality TV updates…
Kroll’s comments last year made headlines after Page Six exclusively reported Wednesday that she was linked to Green “at the beginning” of the Bravo reality show’s new season.
“Taylor went through almost the entire cast, except for Craig [Conover]” a source shared with us.
The insider claimed the pair tried to “say they just hit it off” while filming Season 9, but “it turns out there’s more to it than that.”
As for how the couple’s exes handled the bombshell, the source said Rose, 43, is “fine” with him and even “protects” him.[ed]” Green.
For her part, Flowers had “bigger issues to deal with,” the insider continued, referring to the death of the reality star’s older brother, Conner Flowers, at the age of 32 in February.
When it came to the rest of the cast’s reactions, the source said, “The girls are not mad [Green] because they know he’s crazy and will do anything to climb the ladder.”
Neither Kroll nor Flowers addressed their romance.
Meanwhile, Bravo had no comment.
