Well, before that, Ahsoka is an upcoming limited American TV series. It was developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni for the streaming service Disney+. Ostensibly, it is part of the Star Wars franchise and a spin-off from The Mandalorian series, taking place in the same time frame as that series and its other connected spin-offs after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983). Ahsoka features the character Ahsoka Tano from The Mandalorian and other Star Wars media.

Filming began in early May 2022, with several characters from the Star Wars Rebels animated series revealed to appear. In addition to that, Ahsoka is scheduled for release in 2023.
