A year on from Love Island, Jack Keating is still working on dating apps, but people think I’m fake.

It’s been a year since Jack Keating made his love island debut for romance.

and while she may not have found a connection on the dating show, she hasn’t given up hope.

“I’m still single and ready to mingle,” says Ronan Keating’s 23-year-old son. “I’m on Hinge [the dating app], but I don’t use it very seriously. Every once in a while I dive in and enjoy being single.”

Unfortunately, life in the limelight has made your online encounters quite complicated.

“People think my account is fake. I’m convinced, but they still think I’m a catfish who stole someone else’s photos. I’m like, “Trust me—I’m the real deal.”

Jack made another attempt to find love on TV.

“I just did that Dinner dates with ITV and it will be released in March. The shoot lasted a couple of weeks and I met some lovely girls and ate some delicious food, so it was quite the experience.”

Jack – who works in social media marketing – moved to London a few months ago and is quietly making a name for himself in the showbiz circuit.

However, her sister Missy (22) did show up Dancing with the stars last year, has been shunning the spotlight for now and has carved out a new life Down Under.

“He likes to be there and has a few jobs. He works with coffee and also works for a charity, says Jack.

“She FaceTimed us the other day and said she was the number one seller in her company on the streets of Australia that day and we were like, ‘There’s no better woman!’ Kills him. I plan to visit him in the coming months.”

Jack will have no shortage of holiday homes when he makes the 24-hour round-the-world trip, as his family has strong ties to the country.

“My father was a judge in Australia X Factorand obviously Storm [Ronan’s wife] Australian. They met on the show, where Storm was a producer. His family is there, including his four siblings. So we have a lot of Australian connections – we love being there.”

Ronan, 45, had Jack, Missy and Ali, 17, with first wife Yvonne Connolly, 49.

He then tied the knot with television producer Storm, 41, in 2015, and they share a son Cooper, five, and daughter Coco, two.

Ronan recently attended the opening of Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal hotel with footballer Robbie Keane and his wife Claudine.

The event was star-studded, with Beyoncé performing in a one-hour private concert that reportedly cost more than €21 million.

However, Jack explains that he was left at home to think of his younger half-siblings while his father and stepmother traveled to the Middle East.

“I should have left, but we couldn’t really work it out. It was crazy—Kendall Jenner and Jay-Z were there—it gutted me to be honest.

“Dad loved it, but it was intense. They were told they couldn’t leave their hotel room – and because of the big names, there was 24-hour security everywhere.

“They literally set the time you want to go to the pool or the spa. He said it wasn’t really a holiday, but they both had a great time.

Jack says he “did babysitting duty as I worked with Cooper and Coco all weekend, which was full. I mean, they are the best kids ever – they melt my heart. They make my job easier.”
