As it becomes more and more difficult to find love in the modern age, more and more celebrities are joining every day to sign up on dating apps.

From Hollywood stars to TV favourites, while some have found lasting relationships and others have suffered a lack of success, one disgruntled star has created her own app as a result.

In 2019, the 42-year-old Magic Mike man was reported to have signed up to celebrity dating app Raya after breaking up with ex Jessie J.

According to US Weekly, she had a bit of fun with her autobiography, writing on her profile: “And yes, I was a stripper. I’m sorry’.

Sources told the publication that Channing added D’Angelo Brown’s sexually charged song Sugar to his online account.

Some lyrics from the first song on the album of the same name: “Oh sugar, when you’re close to me, you love me to my knees. And whenever you let me hit you, it’s sweet as honey when it comes to me.

Although it’s unclear how successful his online account was, he has since started dating actress Zoe Kravitz, 34, after meeting on a film set, and went public with their relationship in August 2021.

Rebel Wilson recently launched her own dating app, Fluid, for singles who don’t want to define their sexual orientation – after previously trying to find love online.

The 42-year-old Australian actress has now revealed what inspired her to dip her toe into the digital dating market.

Rebel, who is in a same-sex relationship with girlfriend Ramona Agruma, told his Instagram followers that he once used celebrity-only dating app Raya but didn’t like being asked to enter his sexual preference when logging in.

“I was with my friends and I thought, ‘Let’s make a dating app.’ I was on a dating app, Raya,” he began.

“My experience was basically identifying as a heterosexual woman, but somehow knowing that I was never 100 percent heterosexual.”

“I remember when I went on, you had to check the boxes of who you were,” he recalled.

“On the Raya it said, ‘Are you interested in men or women?’ And those were the only two options. But it felt weird to tick a box.
